Fréquences: 20 m 14150 kHz ± 5 kHz, 40 m 7250 kHz ± 5 kHz, 80 m près de 3755 kHz. (Fréquences sujettes à changements si déjà utilisées par d’autres stations).

Les stations QG de toutes les sociétés membres de l’UIRA R2 et les stations des groupes de communications d’urgence sont invitées par l’UIRA R1 à participer au prochain test de simulation d’urgence mondial. Il est prévu pour samedi le 12 novembre 2011, de 11'00 à 15'00 heure locale.

YV5RNE sera la station QG de la région 2 sur les fréquences CoA de l’UIRA R2.

Concours UIRA 2011

Aux sociétés de l’UIRA région 2:

Le weekend prochain, les 9 et 10 juillet, aura lieu la version 2011 du
championnat HF mondial de l’UIRA.

L’objectif de ce concours BLU et CW est de contacter autant d’autres
radioamateurs que possible, spécialement des stations HQ membres de
sociétés de l’UIRA, partout autour du globe, en utilisant les bandes de
160, 80, 40, 20, 15 et 10 mètres. Il est ouvert à tous les
radioamateurs du monde entier.

Nous invitons toutes les sociétés membres de l’UIRA à y participer
activement avec leurs stations HQ.

IARU HF World Championship 2011

IARU HF World Championship 2011

To IARU Region 2 Member Societies:

The coming weekend, July 9th and 10th, the 2011 version of the IARU HF World Championship will take place.

The objective of this SSB and CW contest is to contact as many other amateurs, especially IARU member society HQ stations, around the world using the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands. It is open to all radio amateurs around the world.

We invite IARU member societies to actively participate with their HQ stations.

RAC will be at Dayton 2011

In this mornings EMAIL was the following from Geoff:

The Radio Amateurs of Canada has been absent for too long from the Dayton Hamfest. In 2011 groups ranging from ARRL, JRRL, DARC, IARU were present and profiling their organizations.

In 2011 RAC intends to join them. RAC is currently arranging for a booth at this world class hamfest.


The RAC is an amateur lead and run organization and is looking for volunteers to help run the booth at the hamfest. We are also looking for a Team Leader to pull RAC’s contribution together.

If you are interested in profiling your counties national organization to an international audiemce please call our office at 1 877 273 8304 and register your interest.

Ah yes and we will pay the admittance of helpful volunteers.

Noel Donawa, 9Y4NED, Area E Director of IARU Region 2, has reported; that Caribbean Emergency & Weather Net (CEWN), has built their new Web
page.

This CEWN’S Web page has been built by the Webmaster, Waine J73WA.

The purpose of the CEWN is to handle all forms of Amateur Radio traffic, pass weather information, and emergency traffic.

The CEWN is doing meetings twice daily at 10:30 and 22:30 UTC on frequency 3.815 MHz. During emergencies, extended their sessions, and will be conducted on 7.162 as conditions dictate.

Noel Donawa, 9Y4NED, Directeur section est de l’IARU Region 2, a annoncé que le réseau d’urgence et météo des Caraïbes (CEWN) a monté
leur nouvelle page Web.

Cette page Web du CEWN a été construite par le webmestre Waine, J73WA.

Le but du CEWN est d’acheminer toutes les formes de trafic radio amateur, relayer l’information météo, ainsi que le trafic d’urgence.

Le CEWN a des rencontres deux fois par jour à 10:30 et 22:30 UTC sur la fréquence 3,815 MHz. Pendant les urgences, leurs sessions seront
allongées, et elles seront conduites sur 7,162 MHz dépendant des conditions.
