Les organisateurs du 2O12L, la plus fructueuse des stations d’événement spécial de tous les temps célébrant les Olympiques de Londres et les Jeux Paralympiques à l’été 2012, ont maintenant produit un DVD de 45 minutes de l’événement. Produit par un membre de l’équipe, Fred Curtis/G3SVK, le DVD va en coulisse de l’événement, racontant comment ces 69,644 QSOs ont pu être rendus possibles. The organisers of 2O12L, the most successful special event station of all time and celebrating the London Olympic and Paralympic Games in the Summer of 2012 have now released a 45 minute DVD of the event. Produced by team member Fred Curtis/G3SVK, the DVD goes behind the scenes of the event, telling the story of how those 69,644 QSOs were made possible. Le Curacao Radio Amateur Club VERONA (société membre UIRA) prévoit une opération utilisant les antennes rideau de la répétitrice ondes courtes de Bonaire de Radio Nederland Wereldomroep.

L'équipe sera formée de Brett PJ2BR, Victor PJ2VR, Hans PJ4LS, Peter PJ4NX, Carlo PJ2CF, Castro PJ2CFM, Ronny PJ2CL et Sergio PJ2SM.

L'opération est planifiée pour utiliser l'indicatif PJ4R (si disponible, sinon PJ4/PJ2A sera utilisé).

Dates: Samedi 8 septembre et dimanche 9 septembre pendant les heures de jour locales.

[IARU-R2-News 212] Last amateur operation from RadioNederland Wereldomroep

The Curacao Radio Amateur Club VERONA (IARU member society) is planning an operation using the curtain Antennas of Radio Nederland Wereldomroep Bonaire Shortwave repeater.

The crew will consist of Brett, PJ2BR; Victor, PJ2VR; Hans, PJ4LS; Peter, PJ4NX; Carlo, PJ2CF; Castro, PJ2CFM; Ronny, PJ2CL and Sergio, PJ2SM.

Operation is planned using the callsign PJ4R (if available, if not PJ4/PJ2A will be used).

Date: Saturday, September 8 and Sunday September 9 during local daylight.

CK6S – Special Event Station for the 100th Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede

The Calgary Amateur Radio Association will be operating special event station CK6S, from July 5 to 15th celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede.

A special QSL card will be available through the QSL bureau or direct, following the CK6S/VE6AO QSL instructions on QRZ.com.

Planned frequencies are in the general portion of the US phone bands around 3.825, 7.180, 14.250, 21.320 & 28.475 +-QRM

All amateurs within the City of Calgary can also use special prefixes CJ6 for VA6 and CK6 for VE6 for the same period.

La Calgary Amateur Radio Association opérera la station pour événement spécial CK6S du 5 au 15 juillet pour célébrer le 100e anniversaire du Stampede de Calgary.

Une carte QSL spéciale sera disponible par le bureau QSL ou direct, en suivant les instructions QSL pour CK6S/VE6AO sur QRZ.com.

Les fréquences planifiées sont sur la partie générale des bandes phonie des USA autour de 3.825, 7.180, 14.250, 21.320 et 28.475 +- QRM.

Tous les radioamateurs à l'intérieur des limites de Calgary pourront également utiliser les préfixes spéciaux CJ6 pour VA6 et CK6 pour VE6 pendant la même période.
