Congratulations to the Winnipeg Amateur Radio Club for making Page A6 of the Winnipeg Free Press today (January 9, 2012)! Their article features a six year old getting her first take of the hobby while also giving a brief overview of the hobby. They also mentioned the important role that Winnipeg ARES members have played in communications during floods and other emergencies. Well done WARC! You can read the full article here.

Has your local club been in the news lately? Send us a copy of what ran so we can keep everyone up to date with the great news of Amateur Radio in Canada.
