I would like to share with you this letter that IARU President Tim Ellam VE6SH sent to IARU Region 2 President Reinaldo Leandro YV5AM about his contribution to our recent success in Geneva during WRC-12

President Reinaldo Leandro was key player in obtaining a 472 kHz band and on the inclusion of the Cuban proposal for a possible amateur radio band in 5 MHz on the agenda for WRC-15.

We congratulate President Leandro and make his success ours in Region 2.
