Several states of local emergency currently exist as of 16:28 local (MDT) 2013-06-20.

Several ARES sites have been activated. AEMA (Alberta Emergency Management) is active.

Some areas are without communications in Southern Alberta. ARES geared up to deploy from Calgary.

High River, Okotoks, Sundre areas, as well as several other areas including Calgary are affected.

Some land line phones are out of service and mobile (cell) phone systems overloaded in trhe affected areas.
